Chemonics International is hiring for a new USAID program that aims to support civil society organizations and independent media to advance key transition priorities. The implementation of this program requires a highly integrated and dynamic team approach to creative, coordinated, and effective program implementation in order to meet the program’s objectives.
Background: The Government of Sudan is seeking qualified consultants and experts to support the development and establishment of a government agency focused on agriculture and food systems transformation. The Program Expert for Agriculture and Food Systems will be a part of the overall design and establishment team overseen by the Government of Sudan, working closely with stakeholders and decisionmakers. He/she will be expected to bring knowledge and expertise of Sudan’s agricultural and food systems sector, be able to produce high quality output, build and maintain relationships with sector stakeholders, and be able to act with professionalism, honesty, and integrity at all times.
