Rida Group is hiring an infrastructure manager who is professional with Information and communication technologies, work on digital transformation of Rida Group, he will work to develop ICT policies and procedures, creating repair strategies, and providing expertise technical knowledge and support.

He/she will be work for wide range of infrastructure systems (backbone side - wired and wireless transmission, Routers, Switches, FW) in addition to access side infrastructure (Servers, IP networks and voice services).

His domain of work span over wide area network across multiple countries and different sites in Sudan, he will be responsible for network planning, operation and maintenance, network performance and resiliency   with an overall intention to bridge the Gap between Rida business and the IT.

His responsibilities will include upgrading and improving operating environments, work with numerous hardware, software, network management and cloud solutions provisioning, he will often need to do troubleshooting analysis and apply solutions in addition to coaching and mentoring his subordinates.

Successful infrastructure manager should have good communication and collaboration skills, solution-oriented attitude, excellent analytical, problem-solving with leadership skills.

Ideal candidates will also have experience in project management and giving professional presentations.

His domain of work span over wide area network across multiple countries and different sites in Sudan.

Infrastructure manager will report to ICT Director

 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining operating environments -Windows Servers Core infrastructure services, VMware virtualization environment, such as VSphere, ESX, VRM, (Linux experience is an additional advantage).
  • Routers and switches advanced configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Sound knowledge with network and end point security solutions.
  • Network management tools.
  • Architecture and design.
  • Supervising technical staff, provide coaching, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • PABX, IP and voice network
  • Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.
  • Project and change management activities.

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field.
  • Min. 10 years of professional hands-on experience, CISCO routers and switches experience is an advantage.
  • Professional Certifications is preferred (CCNP Routing and Switching, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, MSCE, ACSE, other related,).
