Background: The Health and Nutrition Supervisor shall work in close collaboration with and as delegated by the Health and Nutrition Coordinator in performing all his/her duties. He/she will work in ensuring full implementation of the BHA and WFP funded projects in West Kordofan State, which will be implemented El Salam, Debab and Abzabad localities. He/she will also work closely with the State Ministry of health officials at locality levels in ensuring quality implementation of health and nutrition programs. |

Emergency response Concern is committed to responding to emergencies efficiently and effectively in order to help affected people meet their basic needs, alleviate suffering and maintain their dignity. To this end, when emergencies strike and Sudan Programme is to respond, all staff are required to actively participate in the response, regardless of location and contribute to the efforts aimed at achieving the humanitarian objective of the organization. |

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Essential 1. Education · Diploma in the field of health sciences (Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or Public Health) with At least two (2) years’ of experience in Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition programming in emergency context (preferably within a clinic and/or NGO setting). 2. Job related Experiences · Experience in needs assessments, surveillance, surveys, and information management · Experience in training and supervising nutrition workers · Experience in implementing health and nutrition programs · Excellent Arabic & English communication skills (oral and written) · Good understanding of the Sphere relief standards. · Must be computer literate · Ability to take initiative · Willingness to travel to project areas with possibility of overnight stays.
