Background: Þ The position contributes to increase capacity of individual women’s activists as well as women’s groups and networks also contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Gender Equality Reduced Inequalities and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Duties and responsibilities: Þ Administration; Supporting CIS field operations to raise awareness about women political participation;, Provide technical guidance to CIS field operations to expand their understanding of women leadership and women’s political participation, Inform these partners and other key stakeholders about the political leadership and needs of youth and women; Þ Implementing new women leadership actions; Undertake survey of potential actors engaged in women’s political empowerment and women leadership programs;, Evaluate rapidly the requirements of registered and informal women politically oriented organizations, Coordinate various meetings and workshops conducted by the Project relating to women’s political leadership and empowerment; Þ Budget tracking, Resource allocation, and Reporting; Track budget expenditure and line item spending in conjunction with Program Manager and finance office. Contribute in preparation and finalization of periodic and special reports for donors on regular basis as per Donor and Country Office reporting requirements. Þ Assisting with identification of new projects and proposal development;; Work with Partners to develop concept notes for proposals that would provide capacity building to enhance women’s political participation;

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Þ Education: Degree in law or political science, gender and women’s rights and any other related field; Þ Experience: At least 4 Years ’ experience working on gender, women’s rights and political representation and local governance., Þ Demonstrable experience of producing high-quality, credible and learning-focused project results. Þ Must be an Excellent Team Player with Networking Abilities. Þ Demonstrable understanding of project including project Cycle, Logical Frame Work and participatory Monitoring. Experienced in qualitative and quantitative research and having analytical Skills Þ Knowledge and experience in data software and management systems. Þ Excellent report writing and communication skills.
