At WFP, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Solutions Associate  ,based in Khartoum, Sudan to be hired on a SC at level 7.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

WFP is currently providing technical assistance to the Government of the Republic of Sudan for the establishment of the Sudan Family Support Programme. The Sudan Family Support Programme will be a large-scale social safety net programme, which will provide cash assistance to around 80% of Sudanese households.

As part of WFP’s technical assistance provision for the Sudan Family Support Programme, WFP will be providing direct technical assistance for the development of a digital payment solution, payment delivery platform, reconciliation, and a complaints and feedback mechanism (CFM).

The ICT Solutions Associate will work under the CFM Project Manager with a technical line to the ICT Officer to implement, maintain and support IT and information systems to meet the business needs of the programme and scale as the programme grows. He/she will also be involved with analysis/testing and developing specifications and requirements for CFM CRM system.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

.

  1. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners for the SFSP call centre.
  2. Deploy, maintain and troubleshoot core business applications including application servers, associated hardware, end point and databases as necessary
  3. Update IT security updates and patches
  4. Manage the set-up and configuration of CRM systems; provide user training, support and feedback
  5. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals and requirements during the installation and deployment of SugarCRM
  6. In coordination with the CFM Project Manager, develop, analyse, prioritize and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams and flowcharts for SugarCRM system development and/or configuration.
  7. Act as the SugarCRM system focal person (upon certification) to provide technical and systems design expertise on SugarCRM modules, as well as interface with the other solutions used in the SFSP
  8. Keep database up to date, manage database security /integrity, backup procedures, implementing strict security measures and archiving data.
  9. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.
  10. Maintains oversight of the call centre telecommunications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment
  11. Support the CFM team to assess, identify and set up all necessary online monitoring tools and dashboards to produce reports needed.
  12. Support to produce an automated dashboard or regular visually accessible reports for the CFM team and SFP management to contribute to decision making
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post -secondary school certificate in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering .

Experience: At least six years or more years of relevant progressive responsible experience in Information Technology Processes, IT network design, deployment and administration, Application development, and End-users/help desk support.

Language:Fluency in English and Arabic.
