Chemonics International is hiring for a new USAID program that aims to support civil society organizations and independent media to advance key transition priorities. The implementation of this program requires a highly integrated and dynamic team approach to creative, coordinated, and effective program implementation in order to meet the program’s objectives.

 Duties and responsibilities:

The Finance Manager will report to senior management and will be responsible for processing monthly project expenditures, facilitating payments to staff, vendors, and grantees, preparing monthly financial projections, overseeing the project’s tax remittances, and overseeing the project’s financial filing system.


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and administrative support;
  • Experience working with Sudan financial, tax, and legal requirements;
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting systems and software applications;
  • Experience working on international donor-funded programs preferred;
  • Fluent Arabic and strong English language skills required.
