Chemonics International is hiring for a new USAID program that aims to support civil society organizations and independent media to advance key transition priorities. The implementation of this program requires a highly integrated and dynamic team approach to creative, coordinated, and effective program implementation in order to meet the program’s objectives.

 Duties and responsibilities:

The MEL Manager will report to senior management and will oversee all aspects of the program’s MEL efforts including at the activity level through creation of robust evaluation and learning processes managed by three MEL officers. Working closely with the chief of party, OTI, and other program staff, the MEL manage will monitor the program’s progress against its overall objectives.


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience including experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning;
  • Fluent Arabic and strong English language skills required;
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods; strong analytical skills and writing abilities;
  • Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Access;
  • Familiarity with statistical software strongly preferred
