Chemonics International is hiring for a new USAID program that aims to support civil society organizations and independent media to advance key transition priorities. The implementation of this program requires a highly integrated and dynamic team approach to creative, coordinated, and effective program implementation in order to meet the program’s objectives.

 Duties and responsibilities:

The MEL Officer will report to the MEL Manager and assist the manager in performing activity monitoring, data collection for surveys and activity indicators, and site visits.
 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience including experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning;
  • Fluent Arabic and strong English language skills required.;
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods;
  • Strong analytical skills and writing abilities;
  • Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Familiarity with statistical software strongly preferred
