Chemonics International is hiring for a new USAID program that aims to support civil society organizations and independent media to advance key transition priorities. The implementation of this program requires a highly integrated and dynamic team approach to creative, coordinated, and effective program implementation in order to meet the program’s objectives.

 Duties and responsibilities:

The Grants Manager will report to the Operations Manager and will provide input in the design and development of grants, in coordination with senior management and other staff. The grants manager will also lead the development and analysis of grant budgets and oversee grant implementation and performance.
 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the management and administration of grants and/or donor-funded projects;
  • Strong management and administrative skills, and demonstrated experience managing grants, preferably both cash and in-kind;
  • Demonstrated experience in grant management focused on ensuring that procurement, finance, logistics, and programmatic aspects are being implemented on-time and in accordance with the specifications of the approved activity;
  • Demonstrated budgeting creation and management expertise;
  • Fluent Arabic and strong English language skills required.
