Chemonics International is hiring for a new USAID program that aims to support civil society organizations and independent media to advance key transition priorities. The implementation of this program requires a highly integrated and dynamic team approach to creative, coordinated, and effective program implementation in order to meet the program’s objectives.

 Duties and responsibilities:

The Grants Officer will report to the Grants Manager and will be responsible for the administrative and financial management of activities, environmental compliance, grants management, and documentation, and closeout processes.
 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the management and administration of grants and/or donor-funded projects
  • Fluent Arabic and strong English language skills required
  • Strong management and administrative skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in grant management focused on ensuring that procurement, finance, logistics, and programmatic aspects are being implemented on-time and in accordance with the specifications of the approved activity;
