Chemonics International is hiring for a new USAID program that aims to support civil society organizations and independent media to advance key transition priorities. The implementation of this program requires a highly integrated and dynamic team approach to creative, coordinated, and effective program implementation in order to meet the program’s objectives.

 Duties and responsibilities:

The Procurement Officer will report to the Procurement Manager and will oversees in-kind procurement, vendor relationships, procurement compliance, inspection, and delivery.
 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in relief, development assistance, and/or the procurement of goods and services
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and great attention to detail;
  • Capable of quickly performing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent Arabic and strong English language skills required.
