The Community Mobilizer will support the implementation of Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) activities, with a particular focus on women's income-generating activities (IGAs). The role involves mobilizing communities, identifying and supporting beneficiaries, facilitating trainings, monitoring field activities, and ensuring effective engagement with women, community leaders, and stakeholders.                                                                                                                                                              

 Community Mobilization and Beneficiary Engagement
Conduct community sensitization and awareness sessions on project objectives and activities.
Mobilize community members, particularly women, to participate in project activities.
Support beneficiary identification, registration, verification, and selection processes in accordance with project criteria.
Maintain regular communication with community leaders, women's groups, and local authorities.
Support to Women's Income-Generating Activities
Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions for women beneficiaries.
Support the establishment and strengthening of women's livelihood and income-generating groups.
Monitor beneficiaries' participation and progress in IGAs.
Provide basic guidance and follow-up to ensure the effective utilization of project support and resources.
Project Implementation and Monitoring
Support the implementation of food security and livelihood activities at the community level.
Conduct regular field visits and collect data on project indicators.
Monitor beneficiary attendance, participation, and satisfaction.
Report challenges, risks, and success stories to the FSL Officer.
Data Collection and Reporting
Collect accurate beneficiary and activity data using approved tools.
Prepare weekly and monthly field reports.
Ensure proper documentation of activities, attendance sheets, and beneficiary records.
Support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) activities.
Accountability and Safeguarding
Promote accountability to affected populations (AAP).
Ensure all activities comply with safeguarding, gender, and protection standards.
Support the receipt and referral of community feedback and complaints through established mechanisms.                                                                                                                                       

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in community mobilization, livelihoods, food security, or development projects.
Experience working with women's groups and income-generating activities is highly desirable.
Experience with NGOs and donor-funded projects is preferred.
