Background: 1. Purpose of the Position: The SRCS FSL Officer is responsible for managing the partnership file between the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) and the World Food Programme (WFP). This includes coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on activities supported by WFP that are carried out by the SRCS. The FSL Officer ensures that all activities comply with the requirements of WFP, SRCS, and donor organizations, while also strengthening collaboration between SRCS and WFP.

Duties and responsibilities:
2. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate the planning and implementation of programs supported by the World Food Programme (WFP).
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) and WFP.
- Develop work plans and implementation schedules for program activities.
- Ensure the timely distribution of food and/or cash assistance to beneficiaries.
- Supervise field staff and volunteers involved in project implementation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with WFP standards.
- Prepare regular narrative and financial reports on program activities.
- Coordinate the registration, verification, and targeting of beneficiaries.
- Ensure proper documentation and record management for all activities.
- Organize meetings, training sessions, and coordination workshops.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities to assess program effectiveness.
- Identify operational risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure accountability to affected populations and promote mechanisms for community feedback.
- Strengthen the capacity of SRCS volunteers and staff.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding, protection, gender, and inclusion principles throughout program implementation.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Humanitarian Affairs, Public Administration, or a related field.
4. Experience - At least 3–5 years of experience managing humanitarian or development programmes.
- Experience working with WFP, the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, or UN agencies is highly desirable.
- Experience in food security, cash assistance, disaster management, or emergency response.
5. Skills and Competencies - Strong project management skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Monitoring and evaluation experience.
- Budget management knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
