Background: The Projects Manager/Coordinator at field level is responsible for the effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of all project activities in the assigned field location. The role ensures high-quality delivery of humanitarian and development programs in line with organizational standards, donor requirements, and community needs.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Implementation- Oversee the planning and execution of multiple projects in the field.
- Ensure that activities are implemented according to approved work plans, budgets, and logical frameworks.
- Coordinate with sector leads (e.g., Health, Education, WASH, Food Security) to ensure technical quality.
- Lead weekly/monthly planning meetings with field teams.
2. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)- Collaborate with MEAL teams to ensure timely data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Monitor project indicators, outcomes, and progress.
- Ensure accountability mechanisms (e.g., feedback and complaints systems) are functioning at the field level.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to after-action reviews and project evaluations.
3. Financial and Resource Management- Oversee project budgets and ensure spending is aligned with donor requirements.
- Review and approve procurement requests and cash forecasts from field staff.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources and prevent misuse or waste.
4. Team Management and Capacity Building- Supervise and support project teams, ensuring effective delegation and performance management.
- Identify capacity gaps and provide or facilitate training and mentoring for staff.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and conflict resolution among field staff.
5. Coordination and Representation- Represent the organization in local coordination meetings with stakeholders (e.g., local authorities, community leaders, NGOs, UN agencies).
- Ensure coordination and integration between sectors and with other actors working in the area.
- Support visibility efforts and donor visits at the field level.
6. Reporting and Documentation- Prepare timely and quality internal and donor reports in collaboration with the M&E and Grants teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
- Ensure beneficiary and project data is properly stored and protected.
7. Risk Management and Compliance- Identify potential risks to project delivery and propose mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and local laws.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Project Management, or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing humanitarian/development projects in field settings.
- Proven experience in project cycle management, budgeting, and team supervision.
- Knowledge of donor regulations (e.g., UN, ECHO, USAID, etc.).
- Experience working in insecure or remote areas is an asset.
Skills and Competencies:- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic or local language is a plus).
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
