 Background:

The HR Coordinator of CARE International I n Sudan, is responsible for assisting CARE management to provide quality HR services in Darfur Hub (currently SD, ED and ND). The principal function of the position is to introduce effective and efficient systems, innovation, and absolute impartiality in all stages of HR processes and procedures especially in respect to Sudanese national Employees.

 

The HR Coordinator for Darfur Hub is responsible for managing with technical support from  HR manager the Human Resources functions for Darfur Hub based in Nyala , which includes recruitment, staff orientation, and administration of all Human Resources matters in Darfur Hub . HR Coordinator is responsible   for assisting, coordinating and implementation of the HR policies, maintaining proper HR records, and work with Program and Program Support sections to develop procedures, implement Performance management and staff development activities. The HR Coordinator provides necessary support, including travel, to Field Offices as per requirement. he is expected to maintain effective internal and external work relationships in order to enable the HR Department to achieve its objectives as per CIS strategy and operations.

 

Another important area of this position is to have an oversight on staff development initiatives in the organization and develop strategies for effective development and growth staff members.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Administration of Human Resources functions (20 %)
  • Develop and Implement appropriate recruitment system (30 %)
  • Staff Orientation and Induction (%)10
  • Payroll Process (10 %)
  • Performance Management system.(10 %)
  • Provide necessary support for planning and implementing staff development activities efficiently (10 %)
  • Uphold CARE´s values and contribute to the CO shared priorities (10 %)

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant subject from reputed University, preferably with major in Human Resources
  • 8 - 9 years working experience in human resources Management. Experience in International Organization will be given preference. 
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) in both Arabic and English.
  • Word processing, Spreadsheet, familiar with internet is essential. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment; Good interpersonal skills.
