Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide roving, hands-on technical support and on-the-job coaching to WLOs and local partners across field locations.
- Deliver and facilitate training on protection, Child Protection, PSS, CMR, CCS, adolescent girls programming, disability inclusion, and protection mainstreaming.
- Mentor case workers, supervisors, WGSS staff, outreach teams, and managers to improve service quality and survivor-centered practice.
- Support development, roll-out, and institutionalization of SOPs, referral pathways, and inter-agency coordination protocols.
- Conduct quality assurance, case file reviews, service mapping, and compliance checks against protection and CP Minimum Standards.
- Strengthen safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, confidentiality, data protection, and AAP systems within WLOs.
- Support WLOs to build functional MEAL systems, including indicators, tools, data quality, reporting, and learning reviews.
- Provide guidance on basic organizational systems: HR, finance, procurement, risk management, and governance.
- Support proposal development, budgeting, work planning, donor reporting, and compliance with donor requirements.
- Facilitate supportive supervision, staff performance management, duty of care, and staff wellbeing initiatives.
- Conduct institutional capacity assessments and support development and monitoring of capacity improvement plans.
- Promote localization, feminist leadership, and sustainability of WLOs through mentorship and peer-learning.
- Strengthen WLO participation and representation in protection AoR, CP AoR, Protection and Health Cluster coordination platforms.
- Document good practices, lessons learned, challenges, and success stories for learning and advocacy.
- Provide technical input into assessments, program design, and scale-up of integrated protection and women’s health interventions.
Human Resources Management - Create a safe and supportive environment for WLOS
- Develop support strategies for WLOS staff , foster teambuilding, and support principles of self-care
Monitoring and Reporting - Seek and analyze feedback from clients and adapt services accordingly
- Oversee post-distribution monitoring
- Oversee service documentation
- Ensure strict data protection and information-sharing protocols to protect the privacy, confidentiality, and safety of survivors
- Contribute to internal and external reports
Coordination, Advocacy and Representation - Coordinate regularly with PWH Coordinator/PWH Manager and participate, as required, in broader team meetings
- Mobilize stakeholders to strengthen coordination and safe access to services for survivors
- Promote a survivor-centered approach in all internal and external coordination meetings
- Organize case management meetings, as required, with other service providers
- Coordinate with MHPSS, child protection, health, and other sectors to strengthen integration and referrals
- Represent program goals and PWH standards
Security and Conduct - Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies
- Foster a safe and supportive working environment for all PWH staff and partners
- Exemplify core principles of PWH programming, including respect, non-discrimination, responsible use of power, nonviolence, and promotion of gender equality
- Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the program and organization, notably through adherence to the Code of Conduct and Ethics, including compliance with anti-harassment, safeguarding and PSEA policies

- Actively promote PSEA (prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse) standards within International Medical Corps and among beneficiaries served by International Medical Corps.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree in social work, law, Psychology, Gender Studies, Sociology, or another related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in protection prevention and response programming, preferably within a humanitarian or conflict-affected setting.
- Proven experience designing training curricula and mentorship programs.
- Proven experience in training, coaching, and capacity strengthening of national NGOs/WLOs.
- Strong knowledge of IASC Guidelines, protection Minimum Standards, CP Minimum Standards, and survivor-centered approaches.
- Case Management experience required and familiarity with Case Management standards and tools
- Demonstrated commitment to core principles of PWH programming, including gender equality and survivor-centered support services.
- Familiarity with referral pathways, SOPs, and inter-agency coordination mechanisms (e.g., protection-Cluster).
- Excellent supervision, coaching, and mentorship skills to build the technical capacity of case workers.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and case documentation skills with attention to confidentiality.
- Good interpersonal and advocacy skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain flexible, and apply experience and guidance to evolving challenges
- Fluent in Arabic
