Duties and responsibilities: Job Summary
The Logistics Officer is responsible for supporting the procurement & logistics activities and processes to acquire goods and services in the World Bank funded Sudan Enhancing Community Resilience project. You will ensure compliance with CRS procurement principles, standards, and policies, donor regulations, and local statutory requirements. You will coordinate the implementation of all day-to-day activities and ensure all programs and operations have the needed goods and services when they need them in support of high-quality program. Your knowledge and experience will ensure a successful coordination of quality and efficiency of procurement and purchasing activities, the coordination of commodity and logistics needs and challenges, and the implementation of solutions, by applying the principles of stewardship, integrity, transparency, and accountability.
