Background: SUDO is an independent, secular, nongovernmental, non-partisan and non-profit making organization established in April 2001 and dedicated to the promotion and the protection of human rights, peace building, support human basic services and development. In particular, the sector includes: FSL, Health, Nutrition, Protection, WASH, and cash programs. SUDO is currently operating through 13 well-established field offices.

Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Operations manager will be responsible for: Admin and HR management: - Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including:
- Lead in updating the HR policy.
- Staff recruitment and staff contracts.
- Support the development of job descriptions with the line manager.
- Ensure all personnel files are updated and maintained in the system.
- Ensure onboarding and off boarding processes of staff are conducted per the policy.
- Contribute to update the
- ensure performance management is undertaken as required and update and follow up on the staff capacity building plan.
- Prepare the monthly payroll, monthly salary allocation with the HR officer.
- Ensure staff leaves, attendance, timesheets are managed properly.
- Ensure the organizations legal documents are in place.
Procurement and logistics: - Oversee all SUDO premises in terms of, rent, maintenance and security.
- Ensure the procurement processes are completed in the CO and field offices according to the procurement policy.
- Conduct regular market surveys and keep updated market prices.
- Ensure there is an updated inventory of the assets at CO and field offices.
Safety and security: - Monitor the security situation and implement security and risk reduction measures, including the safety of premises, staff safety, and emergency preparedness.
- Provide regular update of the security situation to the management and the staff.
- Liaise with security focal points of other organizations and access working group to exchange information and updates.
- Ensure SUDO premises and vehicles are equipped with the necessary safety measures.
- Follow up on changes on government procedures related to the organization?s operation.
IT: - Ensure the organizations devices and equipment are maintained and functional.
- Support Finance and program team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Additional tasks that may be delegated by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Essential Requirements:
- Master degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in operation with N/INGOs.
- Proven team management experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English and the ability to write clear reports for a wide range of audiences.
- Computer skills ? proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and basic IT troubleshooting.
Other skills: - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, communicate, and negotiate with a wide range of people with tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to cultural differences.
- Ability to work and promote teamwork.
- Ability to work to agreed deadlines.
- Ability to think analytically and plan strategically.
- Ability to live and work in often arduous conditions and undertake necessary travel in the country.
