 Background:

The Project Assistant provides support to fulfil the operational implementation of the project activities.

The position requires close cooperation and networking with the project target groups. Therefore, the Project Assistant will spend a substantial time on the project location at Kassala state.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Key Job Responsibilities

• Support in programme intervention in the project area according to the project works plan. 

• Facilitate participants selection process in the project area • 

Facilitate project intervention’s implementation, planning and monitoring Activities. 

 • Perform mentorship actions while contribute to establish good habit which might help in social cohesion.

• Develop the details participants engagement plan in line with project works plan and execution following the quality standard. 

     • Inform and support CBT and finance for actual attendance for the project participants etc.

 • Provide on the spot support in the field as of need 

• Attend training courses, meetings, and workshops to update knowledge and skills as assigned and disseminate new knowledge/ information/lessons learnt 

• Maintain and compile updates and report according to the prescribed template for M&E and donor.

 

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • University degree in the fields of Social Science, Agriculture, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Cash and voucher Programming including conducting Cash Feasibility Assessments, Market Assessments, Designing Projects, and implementing CVP programs. 
  • Experience in WFP cash-based programming is an added advantage.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing market assessments and familiarity with market analysis tools.
  • Experience in Cash/Food Assistance Programming
  • Previous experience with a range of cash transfer mechanisms.
  • Strong evidence of good interpersonal and communication skills
