 Background:

Objective of the role:

Cash & Vouchers Officer will be responsible for effectively implementing Cash and voucher activities including e-vouchers, and cash payments on behalf of WHH.

 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, prepare, implement and follow up all project activities related to cash and voucher. 
  • Coordinate the selection of appropriate target beneficiaries to be receipt of cash transfer and voucher interventions.
  • Take a leading role in arranging regular meetings with community representatives at beneficial community level.
  • Registration of cash and voucher recipients according to the selection criteria 
  • Ensure that the cash and voucher recipients’ data are uploaded in the suitable system used by project. 
  • Together with community leaders address issues regarding cash and voucher process. 
  • Collect necessary project data for reporting and monitoring purposes
  • Assist with monitoring of PDM activities progress whenever assigned by WHH.
  • Keep close contact and good working relationships with all levels of authorities.
  • Ensure a complaints and feedback mechanism is in place and accessible for all relevant stakeholders
  • Keep records (both hard and soft copies) of project activity documents and project plans
  • Assist and support internal or external consultants for assessments and evaluations

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in the fields of Social Science, Agriculture, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Cash and voucher Programming including conducting Cash Feasibility Assessments, Market Assessments, Designing Projects, and implementing CVP programs. 
  • Experience in WFP cash-based programming an added advantage.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing market assessments and familiarity with market analysis tools.
  • Experience in Cash/Food Assistance Programming
  • Previous experience with a range of cash transfer mechanisms.
  • Strong evidence of good interpersonal and communication skills
