Duties and responsibilities: Job Summary:
The National Senior Health and Nutrition has a health and nutrition background and provides technical support for all health activities within this project. The National Health SPO will be based in Eldain and will report to the project director. S/he will be responsible for the day-to-day management of health and nutrition activities implementation, supervision of on-site programmatic staff, providing day-to-day technical support to health facilities, and building health staff capacity. Other functions include close monitoring and evaluation, accountability to program participants, and frequent coordination with the SMOH. S/he will coordinate closely with the CRS Warehouse Manager in Zalingei to communicate health facility needs to the CRS logistics team, thereby preventing stockouts within basic health units. Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Basic Qualifications
Required Languages - Fluent written and spoken Arabic and professional level of written and spoken English required.
Travel- in the proposed locations subject to Donor approval. Must be willing and able to travel up to 70% to project areas.
