Background: ROLE PURPOSE: The Senior PDQ Officer will be reporting directly to the CO MEAL coordinator and will be responsible for leading all cluster and sector 5W reports, actively participating in cluster meetings and working closely with field program staff and thematic Technical specialists to ensure quality and timely reporting, this also includes participating and supporting in any capacity building for staff regarding cluster reports.The holder of the position will also be managing and regularly updating all MEAL databases, this includes the MEAL action tracker and Total Reach online platform, and will be following up closely MEAL field staff in updating,verifying and reviewing of data that will be used in updating the online platforms. Occasionally this role will also assist MEAL Coordinator and MEAL Specialist in managing their routine MEAL tasks .

Duties and responsibilities:
Cluster and Sector Reporting: - Support in the coordination and establishment of a process for managing National Clusters/ Sectors reporting activities for the country office.
- Compile, edit, and consolidate all sector 5Ws &4Ws reports from the field and share with Sector Leads Technical Specialists for review. Ensure timely submission to Sectors/ Clusters.
- Provide reporting guidelines, templates and provide support, trainings and clarification on reporting guidelines, templates, and schedules for the field teams.
- Liaise as needed, with the relevant team members in the field (project managers, operations team and finance and awards team) to ensure that they provide additional information requested by the clusters and sectors to complete reports.
- Maintain a database of the final versions of reports submitted and approved.
- Periodically monitor the cluster/sectors and donor reporting processes by attending cluster meetings with TS’s and document challenges encountered and recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and circulate reporting schedules with the relevant persons, and on a timely basis.
- MEAL Reporting:
- Work closely with field MEAL team in collecting, review, and consolidation of data for the Total Reach reporting process.
- Update the Total Reach data collection tool and database and ensure online platform is updated on the 12th of each month and shared with relevant PDQ, ESMT, SLT and Operations colleagues.
- Support staff in using and extracting data from the online MEAL databases to use in donor & member reports.
- Support and follow up with field MEAL colleagues to regularly update and review the MEAL action tracker and analyze data.
- Manage all MEAL databases.
- Work closely with MEAL coordinator and MEAL specialist in providing the required support to manage core business processes.
Donor & External Reporting - Work with PDQ, Ops, Awards and other teams as relevant to meet ad hoc information requests from donors e.g. data for presentations or program review meetings.
- Review draft reports/information submitted from the field and work with MEAL colleagues provide technical support to improve on the quality of the information provided, coherence and completeness of the reports.
- Participate in capacity building plans on reporting to the teams involved in reporting.
Comms and Advocacy Support - Support Comms and Advocacy team to gather information required to ensure strong and accurate communication of our work both internally and externally.
- Ensure that data and other reports (e.g. case studies) are developed in coordination and consultation with the technical advisers and operations team and that necessary inputs are adequately provided and went through review and signoff processes.
Child Safeguarding - Ensure that child safeguarding policy, standards and procedures are well understood and adhered to.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
QUALIFICATIONS BA degree in an area of ICT, software or equivalent - Fluency in local language
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written required
- Microsoft Office systems
- Commitment to Save the Children values
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS - Recommended a minimum of 2 years MEAL/program experience
- Recommended a minimum of 2 years working in the INGO Field
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of rapport building and probing techniques
- Experience in information management and IM systems
- Good experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI.
Good coordination and time management skills are highly recommended to smoothly manage reports and online systems
