 Background:

  1. Oversee the creation of regular monitoring reports and program M&E reports for submission to the Program Manager.
  2. Provide insight and guidance on program design from a monitoring and reporting perspective.
  3. Ensure program implementation is on time, target and budget, using effective M&E systems to reach desired impacts 
  4. Develop and maintain a program database for data management and analysis.
  5. Monitor program performance in meeting established objectives.
  6. Support the development of materials that can be used to train local partners and community-based organizations in best practice M&E techniques.
  7. Support the development and review of baseline/endline assessments and PDMs to inform program impact.
  8. Support the development of best practice and lessons learned reports to ensure innovations are documented and integrated into future programming.
  9. Strengthening the AAP system for the partners. 
  10. Through M&E tools ensure that program implementation is responsive to communities and partners and consistent with CORE’s relevant program guidelines, principles, values, quality standards and strategic plan.


 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • 3-5 years in MEAL programming, preferably in the public or non-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in the monitoring and evaluation of programs.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative methods. 
  • Proven experience in conducting data analysis and report writing. 
  • Experience in an emergency context is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with applied monitoring and evaluation approaches.
  • Experience and technical expertise working with community organizations, NGOs, and/or government. 
  • Ability to lead and work with technical groups
