 Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing the recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and hiring candidates
  2. Ensuring new employees are properly inducted into the CORE.
  3. Identifying employee training needs and organizing development programs.
  4. Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure the resolution of conflicts while maintaining a positive work environment.
  5. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and CORE standards.
  6. Supervise and lead administrative staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
  7. Overseeing office supplies, equipment, and general upkeep
  8. Develop and manage the administrative department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
  9. Generate and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative operations
  10. Ensure a safe and comfortable work environment by coordinating with facility management and addressing safety concerns.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR and Admin preferably with INGOs, with at least 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR and Admin manager or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of the job functions, labor laws, and best practices, with specific knowledge of Sudanese labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex programs with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Ability to manage budgets, procurement, and office resources effectively.
  • Experience working in an international organization or NGO is an advantage.
