 Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Oversee programs, staff and activities in accordance with program goals and objectives and the mission of the organization.
  2. Participate in sector coordination meetings with stakeholders, donors, cash working groups and clusters.
  3. Communicate program goals, timelines, and progress regularly 
  4. Identify and assess program risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies and work proactively to resolve challenges to ensure program success.
  5. Ensure appropriate allocation of resources across projects within the program. 
  6. Identifies growth opportunities and further efficiencies that impact the program success and aids in development of strategic plans to achieve objectives. 
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams.
  8. Provide regular updates and status reports to senior leadership. 
  9. Track and measure key program metrics (e.g., milestones, deadlines, budgets) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  10. In conjunction with leadership, responsible for planning and managing program fiscal budgets and financials

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably with INGOs. 
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex programs with cross-functional teams 
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience 
  • Demonstrated experience in the management and evaluation of FSL/CVA, WASH, Education and Protection programs
  • Demonstrated experience with preparing and monitoring grant funded program budgets
  • Familiarity with community-based organizations
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations
