 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation and timely delivery of detailed project implementation plans
  • In collaboration with MEAL specialist conduct needs and market assessments to determine community needs and prevalent profitable livelihood activities.
  • Conduct beneficiary selection, registration and verification for MPCA and livelihood business grant
  • Together with Cash Coordinator plan and distribute CAV/MPCA.
  • Work with Cash Coordinator to set plan for vocational training.
  • Undertake field visits to monitor and assess livelihood activities implementation and make sure that activities are running smoothly.
  • Procurement and budget spending plans whilst ensuring that off-targets are timely identified and mitigated.
  • Coordinate with Partners and communities and follow the performance of the project towards achieving the project objectives.
  • Provide required technical follow-up to the project and ensure the quality implementation of the project specifications. 

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in economics or related field.
  • Completion of key Cash Learning Partnership (CALP) Network courses including but not limited to CVA Fundamentals, core CVA Skills for Program Staff, and Market Analysis.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in CVA programming, preferably in the public or non-profit sector
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of FSL and CVA programs.
  • Familiarity with locally led cash and strengthening the capacity of community-based organizations
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
