The Eastern and Southern Africa (ESAF) region of SOS CVI is headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and has a branch office in Nairobi. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to join our team at the national level. The successful candidate will support all M&E processes across our programs, including tool development, data collection and analysis, reporting, learning, and accountability. The role is vital for strengthening evidence-based decision-making and improving program quality and 

• Support the development and rollout of M&E systems, tools, and frameworks for all programs.
•  Coordinate field data collection and ensure quality assurance across project sites.
•  Conduct regular data analysis and contribute to internal and donor reports.
•  Document lessons learned, success stories, and support learning sessions with field staff.
•  Facilitate the implementation of accountability and feedback mechanisms.
•  Provide training and ongoing mentorship to field-level staff and community monitors.
•  Support the MEAL Coordinator in planning and coordinating M&E activities and represent M&E in internal meetings when needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E, ideally in NGOs with humanitarian or development programs.
• Proficient in digital data collection and statistical software.
• Strong understanding of logical frameworks, indicator tracking, and result-based management.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and analytical skills.
