Background: Established in 1949, SOS Villages International (CVI) is a dynamic international social development and humanitarian organization operating globally to meet the needs and protect the rights and interests of children without parental care and those at risk of losing it. The Eastern and Southern Africa (ESAF) region of SOS CVI is headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and has a branch office in Nairobi. It includes member associations (MAs) in Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia/Somaliland, Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana, Namibia, Mauritius, Angola, and Madagascar. As a Protection Field Officer, you will be responsible for implementing protection programs, conducting assessments, providing direct support to vulnerable children, and advocating for their rights within our organization. You will work closely with the Program team, communities, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of participants in the program. |
