The Senior PDQ Officer will be reporting directly to the CO MEAL coordinator and will be responsible for leading all cluster and sector 5W reports, actively participating in cluster meetings and working closely with field program staff and thematic Technical specialists to ensure quality and timely reporting, this also includes participating and supporting in any capacity building for staff regarding cluster reports.The holder of the position will also be managing and regularly updating all MEAL databases, this includes the MEAL action tracker and Total Reach online platform, and will be following up closely MEAL field staff in updating,verifying and reviewing of data that will be used in updating the online platforms. Occasionally this role will also assist MEAL Coordinator and MEAL Specialist in managing their routine MEAL tasks
Duties and responsibilities:
Support in the coordination and establishment of a process for managing National Clusters/ Sectors reporting activities for the country office.
Compile, edit, and consolidate all sector 5Ws &4Ws reports from the field and share with Sector Leads Technical Specialists for review. Ensure timely submission to Sectors/ Clusters.
Provide reporting guidelines, templates and provide support, trainings and clarification on reporting guidelines, templates, and schedules for the field teams.
Liaise as needed, with the relevant team members in the field (project managers, operations team and finance and awards team) to ensure that they provide additional information requested by the clusters and sectors to complete reports.
Maintain a database of the final versions of reports submitted and approved.
Periodically monitor the cluster/sectors and donor reporting processes by attending cluster meetings with TS’s and document challenges encountered and recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and circulate reporting schedules with the relevant persons, and on a timely basis.
Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Education and Skills
BA degree in an area of ICT, software or equivalent
Fluency in local language
Fluency in English, both verbal and written required
Microsoft Office systems

EXPERIENCE
Recommended a minimum of 2 years MEAL/program experience
Recommended a minimum of 2 years working in the INGO Field
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of rapport building and probing techniques
Experience in information management and IM systems
Good experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI.
Good coordination and time management skills are highly recommended to smoothly manage reports and online systems
