Duties and responsibilities:
- Adhere to, follow and maintain the WFP – Community-based Nutrition Integrated Program (CNIP) protocol and plan over the project duration.
- Keep up-to-date anthropometric database and share them with Nutritionists/Nutrition Officer and Nutrition Coordinator for analysis.
- Work closely with Nutrition Coordinator/Nutrition Advisor, to ensure compatibility and consistency in data updates.
- Ensure that all anthropometric tools are in good working condition and kept in a convenience place.
- Ensure that all CNIP food and NFI data are well entered accurately, clean, reliable into the database, and full records are kept up to date.
- Monitor the nutrition food movements and ensure that the food issued coincides with the beneficiaries count all the time.
- Work Closely with CNIP team, SMoH, CM and WFP to ensure that the data quality protocols are adhered, comprehensive and complete as per CNIP protocol and plan.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Adhere to the code of conduct of WHH.
- Support the overall data management of WHH project, including development and management of beneficiary and tracking tools, and verification of beneficiary lists.
- Provide support in reporting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, assuring data consistency, giving statistical information of collected data.
- Maintain an organized archive system for all projects data and ensure backup availability.
- Support in consolidating project data for reporting purposes and provide customized charts as required with visualizing data of project.
- Keep up to date with developments in data protection principles and policies and ensure adherence to relevant data protection principles.
- Identify needs and areas for improvement of data collection in the project.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- Education degree: BSC in Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or a related field with relevant work experience
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office package.
- Respectful, kind, sensitive and empathetic to all beneficiaries and community members
- Experience with working with CMAM/nutrition program database systems
- Experience in Database management for nutrition programs
- Knowledge of policies and guidelines pertaining to the health and nutrition sectors in Sudan is required.
- Strong communicator with ability to write reports and correspondence emails and letters.
- Excellent computer skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work with limited supervision.
- At least 3 years of work experience as a Database Officer Associated with nutrition experience.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic
- At least 3 to 5 years work experience, in nutrition field in relation nutrition data management and reporting, experience in implementation social and behavior change programming (various approaches), IYCF and IYCF-E, nutrition-sensitive and nutrition specific programming.
