Background: The SRCS/ICRC Joint Operation mobile accountant is the financial specialists who implement, monitor and review the operation budget. He liaises with the SRCS branches to provide technical support and collect the financial reports as per the requirements of the Financial Rules and Procedures Agreement. The role will require occasional travel or on-site visits as needed.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Liaise regularly with the accountants in the target branches to provide technical support and collect the financial reports of joint operation programs.
- Reporting to the SRCS Finance Department and the Director of the joint operation or other concerned as required.
- Support and working together with the operation team to monitor and review budgets, preparing cash requests, follow up the implementation as per the programs working plans.
- Monitoring receivable income and supporting project managers with collections.
- Issuing invoices and purchase orders, as well as paying consultant, subcontractor, vendor, and supplier bills in coordination with the finance team and program Coordinators.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact.
- Monitor, coordinate, and communicate the strategic objectives of the business.
- Collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the business.
- Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise.
- organize, and disseminate information relevant to the SRCSLICRC joint operations, ensuring that it is accessible to when needed.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or similar.
- A certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) would be advantageous.
- 3-5 years' experience as a program accountant, or similar.
- Proficiency in electronic accounting systems, such as FINSYNC and Free Agent.
- Ability to report to the Accounting Supervisor and other program coordinators.
- Advanced proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and accounting reconciliations.
- Exceptional ability to prepare project budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
- In-depth knowledge of the best practices in accounting.
