 Background:

Are you passionate about shaping the future of education in Sudan? Save the Children is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Advisor – Head of Education to lead and drive our education strategy, ensuring quality program design, impactful advocacy, and sustainable change.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead education strategy development and program quality improvement.
  • Influence policy and advocacy through evidence-based initiatives.
  • Represent Save the Children in national and international education forums.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with government bodies, INGOs, and UN agencies.
  • Support education teams with technical expertise, research, and innovation.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Sciences or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in education programming, including leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in literacy, inclusive education, early childhood development, and quality learning environments.
  • Experience in policy advocacy, capacity-building, and research.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
