Duties and responsibilities: Position Summary: RI is seeking a motivated person who plays a vital role in supporting the efficient management and administration of contracts within the RI-Sudan humanitarian program portfolio. This position involves assisting with the preparation, review, and maintenance of contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and legal standards. The Grants and Contracts Officer will also manage and support partnerships with donors, INGOs, and local NGOs, acting as the primary contact point. This role includes facilitating Organizational Capacity Assessments (OCAs) and Due Diligence Assessments (DDAs), Non-disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming agreements (TA), Memorandums of understanding (MOUs) etc. to enhance the organization’s ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with National Organizations, and external parties. Key responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex information efficiently in a dynamic environment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to supporting the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
