Duties and responsibilities:
Planning and Coordination - Develop and oversee the implementation of the NFI distribution plan in alignment with the project objectives.
- Coordinate with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to identify beneficiaries and secure distribution sites.
- Ensure NFI activities are integrated with other humanitarian efforts in the area to avoid duplication.
Procurement and Inventory Management - Work with the logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of NFI materials.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of NFIs at designated warehouses.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock movements to ensure accountability..
Distribution and Beneficiary Support - Organize and supervise NFI distributions to ensure they are conducted efficiently, equitably, and in accordance with the project timeline.
- Provide clear guidance to field staff and volunteers during distributions.
- Address beneficiary complaints and ensure a transparent and fair process.
Monitoring and Reporting - Conduct regular field visits to monitor NFI activities and ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Collect and analyze data from distributions to evaluate project impact and identify gaps.
- Prepare and submit weekly and final reports to the project manager and donor as required
Compliance and Accountability: - Ensure all activities comply with IOM guidelines, donor regulations, and humanitarian standards.
Implement accountability mechanisms, including feedback and complaints systems for beneficiaries.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Humanitarian Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES - Experience working with INGOs is an added advantage.
ABILITIES: - Strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets.
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international, stressful, and security-sensitive environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Strong commitment to building the capacity of national staff and partners with willingness to adopt participatory and consultative approaches.
- Proven ability to build/work in a team and to manage and motivate personnel and to draw on individual skills to advance agendas and problem solve.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret administrative reports, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports in English; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, counterparts, and government representatives.
- Proven representation and advocacy skills with capacity to represent the organization in a professional manner to donors, volunteers, and the public.
- Ability to work independently and in challenging environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
