SUMMARY:

 

The Case Management Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the provision of case management services, develop plans and follow up on their implementation ensuring that all activities are carried out as per the case management guidelines and SOPs. This role involves supervising case managers, providing continuous support and guidance to case managers, organizing case management meetings, and updating service mapping, with adherence to the principles of case management and child safeguarding policy. It will also encompass monitoring service delivery, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. The Case Management Supervisor will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external service providers and stakeholders. The case management supervisor will report to the protection officer.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision and support to case managers, including conducting regular supervision meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development activities.
  • Plan and conduct training sessions for case management staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. 
  • Attend the case closure session or at least sign the closure papers after verifying that they have achieved their objectives or justifications for closure in accordance with the case management guidelines
  • Ensure that case managers are committed to documenting all cases separately, maintaining case files for each child and updating them regularly as well guarantee that they are securely stored.
  • Conduct weekly case management meetings to review cases and discuss solutions ensuring quality of services provided. Offer guidance on complex cases and ensure that case plans are appropriate and effective and followed up within specified timelines.
  • Participate in case conferences
  • Oversee the implementation of case management services, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with case management guidelines, organizational standards and client needs.
  • Ensure that comprehensive assessments are conducted for all cases to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to assess the effectiveness of case management services.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with community partners, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide support and counseling services for children, parents, and caregivers
  • Conduct a case satisfaction assessment based on case consent
  • Respect and apply all principles of protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and the child safeguarding policy, and the commitment to report any sexual exploitation or abuse incident or any violation of the child safeguarding policy. 
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to the supervisor or project manager concerning case management.

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Diploma in education, counseling psychology, social work or any related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in case management or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Work experience in implementing protection programs within humanitarian organizations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic/English is desirable
  • Experience in conducting individual interviews.
  • The ability to organize work plans and execute within specific dates
