Background: CRS Sudan will be implementing an emergency food security program to address acute food security shocks in Sudan. The project will serve as a food pipeline for affected populations in Central and West Darfur.

Duties and responsibilities: Job Summary: The Safe and Dignified Programming (SDP) SPO will provide tools and technical support CRS Food Security Project in Central and West Darfur. The SDP SPO will help ensure the effective implementation of safe programming, protection mainstreaming, feedback, response and complaint mechanism (FCRM), service mapping, and participation in cluster coordination. The SPO will coordinate with the safeguarding units dedicated to staff and partner safeguarding and also support and oversee integration of gender and social inclusion components in the project activities.

Required/Desired Foreign Language: Excellent command of English and Arabic is required. Travel Required: Approximately 50% travel within Sudan.
