 Background:

Addition for Disaster Assistance and Development (ADD), in response to the emergency situation and the floods that have affected thousands of families in Tokar Locality, Red Sea State, is committed to supporting the affected community through the distribution of Core Relief Items (CRIs).

 

As part of its humanitarian mission, ADD is working to ensure that essential non-food items, including shelter materials and hygiene supplies, are delivered efficiently and effectively to meet the urgent needs of vulnerable families impacted by the floods.

 Duties and responsibilities:

Program Implementation:

• Follow up on project activities to ensure implementation is aligned with technical guidelines, ADD policy, donor standards, and the project plan to achieve objectives in a timely and quality manner.

• Plan, implement, and monitor NFIs activities in coordination with the Project Coordinator.

• Conduct registration and verification of beneficiaries to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with project targeting criteria.

• Coordinate with the field team on transportation, stock management, and utilization of NFIs kits.

• Collaborate with the MEAL team to share beneficiary lists for verification and cross-checking, providing required information during and after implementation.

• Communicate distribution plans to the MEAL team, review MEAL reports, and ensure follow-up on post-distribution processes.

• Ensure effective, timely, and safe NFIs distributions, informing stakeholders and adhering to distribution guidelines.

• Organize and coordinate assessments, planning, and actions related to NFIs distribution with the Project Coordinator.

• Integrate cross-cutting issues such as gender, environment, child protection, GBV, and other vulnerable group considerations into program activities.

• Submit weekly reports detailing activities, achievements, challenges, and updates to the Project Coordinator.

• Maintain and document project activity records, including assessments, registration lists, verification data, distribution records, and other supportive documents as per ADD guidelines.

• Support post-distribution monitoring (PDM) exercises in collaboration with the MEAL team.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator.

• Monitor stocks and work closely with logistics staff and the warehouse security unit to ensure proper warehouse management and mitigate risks.

• Prepare and share timely distribution plans with the logistics team to ensure smooth field operations.


 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

The ideal candidate should have a university degree in a relevant field , with at least 2 years of experience in NFIs programming, beneficiary registration, and distribution.

 The role requires strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates must be willing to work under pressure, spend long nights in remote localities, and travel frequently to field locations.
