Background: The Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) is a lead National society in providing quality humanitarian work, was established in 1956. (SRCS) was accepted into the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. (SRCS) a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The SRCS operates across the Sudan with 18 branches and an active volunteer. The mission of (SRCS) is to Provide humanitarian aid services towards building secure and capable urban and rural communities through the transition to resilience, recovery, rehabilitation and development, in compliance with International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement Principles and guidelines and in conformity with international human rights, through a sustainable development approach where environment conservation and rationalized use of natural resources are considered top priorities to help guarantee a safe global environment for future generations. Purpose of the job: The HR Officer is responsible for staff administration within the delegation. S/he provides HR services such as employment contract management, training & development and performance management in line with the SRC’s and policies and the applicable laws and regulations.

Duties and responsibilities:
- The HR Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day human resources work involved in SRCS.
- Ensures that staff-management policies are applied correctly.
- Supports the internal and external recruitment process and provides HR expertise to all levels of the organization throughout the full life-cycle recruitment process.
- Works in collaboration with various units, teams, or departments to identify and analyze recruitment challenges, methods, and processes and optimize recruitment tools.
- Reviews and publishes internal and external job offers.
- Conducts in-person and virtual interviews and skills and participates in selecting candidates.
- Maintenance of an updated database both hard copies and scanned with all the information about current employees of the SRCS in HQ and Branch’s, including personal information, salary, timesheet in the SRCS, and past grievances, if any.
- Record updated information on newly hired employees, employee changes in salaries, job titles, or work location.
- Responsible for orientating newly hired personnel with respect to Orientation Matrix, policies, and procedures, including remuneration, benefits, and the organizational “work ethic”, Making sure that each new hire signed the orientation matrix.
- Promote an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.
- Demonstrated experience scheduling and managing staff from multiple departments.
- Lead statutory deductions (NSI and Taxes) are properly calculated and paid on a monthly basis and paid on time.
- Ensure compliance with human resources-related obligations including labor laws and human resources policies.
- Carries out and provides support for learning and development programs and Performance Management Development activities.
- Analyses learning needs of the delegation and Ensures that Learning Development Performance Management and development policies are applied correctly.
- Contributes to planning and developing the delegation learning and development budget, annual planning, and training programs.
- Contributes to formulating delegation priorities and strategies for learning and development.
- Contributes to the administrative and logistical organization of learning and development programs.
- Carries out evaluation and reporting related to their learning programs.
- Liaises with Administration and other departments in Sudan for all the training needs (Focal Point).
- Contributes to the drafting of Planning for results exercise and budget for its projects.
- Monitor staff attendance and prepare monthly reports and submit them to HR Director.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or another relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in HR Officer positions preferably with NGOs in a multi-cultural environment.
- Experience and sufficient skills in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and information management systems.
- Good communication and staff management skills.

- Ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English& Arabic; excellent demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
