Main Purpose of Job:
The GAVI project cross border Health Information Management Office will directly report to the GAVI health manager and will be responsible for all data information, management, and analysis from the IRC Sudan GAVI project. The HIMO will provide day-to-day support and lead all aspects of all health information at the projects sites and build monthly reports and analysis. As part of the Health Data Unit, the position will provide required support on design and implement new technology. A cross border Health Information Systems (HIS) Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of health information systems. They work to ensure that health data is collected, analyzed, and reported in a timely and accurate manner. HIS Officers also play a key role in training and supporting health workers in the use of health information systems. |
