Background: The Fundraising & Partnership Coordinator will support the organization’s fundraising activities by providing valuable information, and innovative fundraising ideas. This role involves engaging with potential and existing donors through phone, email, and face-to-face contact. The coordinator will collaborate closely with the Sadagaat Charity Organization (SCO) team to achieve annual fundraising targets and project objectives, while also identifying and developing new funding opportunities, responding to proposals, and building partnerships.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain strong working relationships with existing donors and partner organizations.
- Research, identify, assess, and develop new fundraising opportunities and relationships with institutional donors, private foundations, trusts, and individuals.
- Develop and submit high-quality funding applications and relevant materials to donors at national, regional, and global levels, including identifying budgeted activities that can be packaged as projects.
- Follow up on proposals and funding applications to ensure they receive due consideration, providing all necessary data as required by donors.
- Attend relevant fundraising and marketing events as needed.
- Stay informed about current fundraising procedures and legislation affecting fundraising activities within the charitable sector.
- Support the Fundraising & Partnership Manager in engaging with strategic partners, including civil society organizations, INGOs, UN agencies, and government entities, to maximize resources for implementing quality programs and projects.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Fundraising & Partnership Manager.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, or any other relevant field.
- 1-2 years in a relationship or client engagement role, preferably within the humanitarian and development sector.
- Relevant work experience in Resource mobilization and grants management will be an added advantage
- Additional certifications or training in fundraising, project management, or partnership development are a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations both internally and externally
- A demonstrated ability to initiate and promote collaborative approaches between geographically and culturally disparate partners
- Proficient in using fundraising and CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
