Background: The Role of the Finance Assistant is to provide finance service to Khartoum/Port Sudan Office, addressing issues of finance and provide relevant information to meet internal and external demands. These services may include, but are not limited to, processing cash payments, monthly adjustment, maintain sub ledger and maintaining the Accounting Records |

Duties and responsibilities: 1. Processing Cash Payment. a) Ensure that financial information and payment is processed in accordance with CIS procedures and processes. b) Reviews all vouchers and documents to ensure validity of payment. 7. Audit a) Provide all supporting transactions required by auditors when required. This will involve contacting the finance colleagues in the field. B) Be aware of CARE’s commitments to Gender and Diversity, and strive to uphold them C) Be committed to promote CARE’s core values at all times |

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce, preferably in Finance / Accounting Language: Good communication skills in both Arabic and English |
