Main Purpose of Job:
The Pharmacy Officer acts as technical lead on pharma management in the state. S/he shall be responsible for quality assurance of all pharmaceutical products in the state in collaboration with the Country Pharmacist and also act the bridge between Supply Chain and the Health Unit. S/he will participate in the definition of strategies for supply chain management, distribution and use of medical products and donations in the programs in line with the health department’s recommendations and policies whilst ensuring national regulations are followed. This position is the link with external actors/partners in the state concerning pharmaceutical issues. This position reports to the health Manger with technical reporting to the Country Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Officer will also work in close collaboration with warehouse teams, health facility pharmacists, health partners, and operational support teams. |
