Background: The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), an impartial, neutral and independent organization striving to protect and assist the victims of war and internal violence, has been working in Sudan since 1978. The ICRC is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to fill the position of Protection Data Administrator in Port-Sudan. Purpose: The Protection Data Administrator carries out processing and management of data, consisting mainly in data entries, collected through ICRC’s protection activities within the frame of the ICRC’s mandate deriving from international humanitarian law, using specialized case-management software (Prot6). He/she will handle different stages of information management. The job demands an exceptional eye for detail, self-motivation, and a great level of organization, as well as integration into the protection team. |
