Duties and responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Planning - Contribute to the formulation and continuous improvement of the organization's education project strategies, business plans, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct organizational reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, and evaluate the operational effectiveness of new and existing education projects.
- Lead the development of comprehensive annual business plans that address and introduce solutions for strategic education-related issues impacting the organization.
2. Project Implementation and Supervision - Supervise the implementation of education program activities and child protection activities.
- Oversee the execution of education sector projects, providing expert consultation, coaching, and supervision to ensure successful delivery.
- Distribute tasks effectively among the project team and manage timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
3. Monitoring and Evaluation - Monitor project progress, ensure progress reports prepared, contribute to monitoring and evaluation, and identify the impact of implemented programs and projects.
- Ensure proper and timely project documentation is maintained and readily available.
4. Legal and Compliance - Ensure all necessary legal documents, such as contracts and agreement conditions, are properly issued and maintained.
- Ensure all policy and legal requirements relevant to the organization's education initiatives are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Team Management - Foster strong collaborative relationships within the organization and with key external partners and organizations to enhance the quality of thinking and ideas applied to stakeholder needs.
- Provide leadership and management experience to support and mentor multiple staff members.
6. Partnerships and Fundraising - Support the fundraising and partnerships function by engaging with corporate social responsibility managers to build strategic partnerships aligned with the organization's education strategy.
7. Representation and Collaboration - Represent the organization in meetings organized by international development and humanitarian aid organizations present in the country.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Competencies Required for the Position - Minimum Bachelor Degree in Management, Business Administration, or any relevant field. Master degree will be preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience managing and implementing education projects.
- Strong leadership and management experience with proven success in program development, proposal and report writing skills.
- Experience in project management and managing budgets, result-based programming.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Excellent knowledge in data management.
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, Power point and word
- Excellent English / Arabic language skills
