Recruitment of State Research Supervisors:

Our operations are run by a team of experienced research professionals who are based in every state in Sudan, every 6 months, DataQ updates this list to contribute to the labour market and inject new blood into its network. 

Hence, DataQ announces the initiation of State Supervisors’ Registration for Short-Term / Project-based Research Assignments.

Who are we recruiting? 

DataQ is looking for experienced research supervisors with knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methods (Site visits, KIIs, FGDs, Observations, CAPI, and CATI surveys). Research Supervisors responsibilities include developing a keen understanding of data collection tools, training local enumerators, and acting as team leaders for data collection.

توظيف مشرفي أبحاث الولايات:

يدير عملياتنا فريق من المحترفين ذوي الخبرة في البحث الذين يعملون في كل ولايات السودان، كل ٦ أشهر، تقوم DataQ بتحديث قائمة باحثيها للمساهمة في سوق العمل وتجديد العاملين في شبكتها.

لذلك، تعلن DataQ عن بدء تسجيل لوظيفة مشرف أبحاث ميدانية  للأبحاث قصيرة الأجل / على أساس المشروع.

ما هي مواصفات المرشحين المطلوبين؟

تبحث شركة Dataq عن مشرفي بحوث ذوي خبرة ومعرفة بالأساليب البحثية الكمية والنوعية (زيارات الموقع، المقابلات المعمقة مع الخبراء، مجموعات النقاش المركزة، الملاحظات، استطلاعات CAPI وCATI)

(Site visits, KIIs, FGDs, Observations,CAPI, and CATI surveys). تتضمن مسؤوليات مشرفي البحث تطوير فهم عميق لأدوات جمع البيانات، وتدريب الباحثين المحليين، والعمل كقادة فرق لجمع البيانات

• Lead and manage research projects and data collection teams. 
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards in research.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders.
• Attend the required training for the specific research project as needed.
• Assist in contextualizing and reviewing tools (such as questionnaires and interview guides), to the context of local environments and data collection time frames and processes. 
• Allocate a team of local enumerators to conduct surveys with respondents. 
• Review and ensure the quality of the data collected in the field. 
• Report challenges and solve problems.
• Support in assigning budgets and required logistics.
• Train and support data collectors when needed.
• Provide information and situation analysis for the different life aspects in the state of residence. 
• Traveling within the designated area for data collection.
• Others: dependent on the nature of the project.

• تخصيص فريق من الباحثين المحليين لإجراء الاستطلاعات مع المستجيبين.
• مراجعة وضمان جودة البيانات التي تم جمعها ميدانيا.
• الإبلاغ عن التحديات وحل المشكلات.
• المساعدة في تخصيص الميزانيات واللوجستيات المطلوبة.
• تدريب ودعم جامعي البيانات عند الحاجة.
• تقديم المعلومات وتحليل الوضع لمختلف جوانب الحياة في الولاية.
• السفر داخل المنطقة المحددة لجمع البيانات.
• مهام أخرى تعتمد على طبيعة المشروع.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting data collection, monitoring and evaluation or research assignments.
• Previous experience in quantitative data collection specifically surveys using ODK, Kobo Collect. 
• Previous experience in qualitative data collection (KIIs, FGDs, CATI and IDIs). 
• Ability to act as a Team Leader for the field data collectors. 
• Ability to mobilize a wide network of male and female enumerators/data collectors in the specified state. 
• High level of attention to detail and punctuality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Respect for individuals from all nationalities, ethnic groups, religions and minority populations, and a high level of cultural sensitivity. 
• Familiarity with the humanitarian field is desirable. 
• Working experience with NGOs is a strong asset. 
• Females are strongly encouraged to apply.
