SUMMARY: The Hygiene promoter supervisor will support the Relief International Country Operation of the project. In coordination with the Government, to assess needs and coordinate the Hygiene promotion activities services to beneficiaries of concern to RI. It will also include WASH software activities follow up and monitoring the implementation to ensure that an adequate level of WASH service is provided at each site in accordance with the Relief International applicable RI Standards and/or National Standards. He or She will be responsible to follow-up monitoring WASH software activities that being implementing in field level. He or She will also do monitoring of water quality at health and nutrition facility at the target area |

Duties and responsibilities: Detail responsibilities;
Under the supervision of the WASH Officer, the Hygiene Promotion supervisor, at technical level, supervises the Hygiene Promotion (HP) team activities in order to ensure the pertinence and quality of the activities according to the required standard. S/he trains, coaches and mentors the team. S/he develops hygiene promotion and social mobilization campaigns and methodologies. S/he represents RI in HP coordination meetings and technical working groups.
Supervise at technical level the work done by the HP team in order to ensure the quality and pertinence of the activities. Train, coach and mentor the HP team.
Develop HP and community mobilization tools, methodologies and strategies adapted to the situation in the communities, IDPs and health facilities within the geographical area of intervention. Participate in the implementation of hygiene campaigns using the relevant tools and methodologies.
Represent RI in the HP coordination meetings and technical working groups
Report on the quantity, quality and relevance of the HP activities to WASH officer, the Head of Projects and the WASH coordinator. Report potential problems or conflicts during the implementation of activities. Regularly report verbally to WASH officer and the WASH coordinator as needed.
Support any other activities assigned to do by line supervisors. Support emergency interventions, as found relevant support any activity that helps achieving Relief International humanitarian goals, promote gender equality within the humanitarian and/or development work.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Degree in public health or related fields At least 3 years of experience in public health promotion field Team management experience (preferred) Strong communication skills Experience in hygiene/health promotion and social mobilization Ability to work in a team, interpersonal skills and diplomacy Good organizational skills, proactivity and ability to work autonomously Flexibility and adaptability Very good reporting skills Ability to work with children and vulnerable people Gender Sensitive Fluent in Arabic and excellent English Computer skills: Microsoft Office, especially Excel |
