 Background:

Under the direct supervision of the FAO Representative and of the M & E Specialist, the Compliance Monitoring Assistant will contribute to efforts that monitor projects outputs against work plan and targets, including those of the Service Providers for the overall FAO Sudan Programmes. The incumbent will specifically assist in the operations of the Call Centre and the Compliance Unit:



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Assist in collecting data and information on the activities of each component of the FAO emergency and programme components.
  2. Assist in compiling the data for each component of the emergency and programmes.
  3. Organizes and conducts phone-based surveys during peak of the CC activity.
  4. Maintain a schedule of surveys and work efficiently towards their completion.
  5. Follow FAO Sudan survey methodologies and existing formats for data and metadata storage (databases, tools, protocols).
  6. Enter data received from key informants into FAO Sudan databases.
  7. Maintain a schedule of surveys and work efficiently towards their completion.
  8. Perform other related duties as required.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Education:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or similar field
 
Experience:
  • At least three years of experience in a similar assignment will be required. Experience with International Organizations such as the United Nations is an added advantage.
 
Other:
  • Good knowledge of Arabic (level B), FAO official language used at the duty station (English Level C) is required.
