 Background:

Responsible for directing and managing the financial and budgetary activities, including financial reporting to the management and statutory reports to competent authorities. Furthermore, liaising with operations department heads to identify areas of raising efficiency and effectiveness and to improve performance, policies, and programs



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily bank balances, inter-bank fund transfers, inter-company transactions and accounts reconciliation
  • Review and validate receivable invoices, supplier invoices, and follow up on receivable collection
  • Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements and reports 
  • Analyze financial statements, reports, and other performance indicators and provide the necessary feedback and recommendations
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure annual monitoring of company finances
  • Direct preparation of payroll, leave salaries and terminal benefits
  • Oversee Compliance to all regulatory and Tax requirements 
  • Co-ordinate with Operations and Corporate Finance on Preparation of annual budget 
  • Review new Customer Contracts and renewal of existing contracts 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by manager

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • B.S. Accounting/ Other financial graduate degree, MBA Preferable
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Finance and Accounting in a management role
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills and timely decision making
  • Leadership as well as team-building skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, oral and written English communication skills.
  • Goal orientation and Drive for results
  • Excellent Computer skills, proficiency in MS Office and Financial Applications.
  • Knowledge of Financial Planning & Budgeting, Financial Accounting, Cost Estimation Analysis, Treasury Management, Audit and Regulatory and compliance
  • CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
