Background:

Adeela for culture and art is a youth-led nonprofit institution founded in 2018, with very unique and talented ideas to spotlight social problems and issues that young people face in their everyday life, focusing on Peace, social justice and human rights issues in Sudan.
Adeela believes that the best way to overcome social problems is to uncover them, in a very attractive and unfamiliar way that helps Sudanese youth view things from a different perspective, in a way that sparks the discussion on these issues and carefully creates an open-minded room for dialogue, paving the way to find solutions for a better tomorrow that we all seek to see in our nation.

Duties and responsibilities:

Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting vacant positions and coordinating the hiring process.
Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Work closely with the team in implementing systematic staff development procedures.
Assist in performance management and evaluation processes.
Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
Taking full responsibility for all annual leave and attendance records.
Inducting new staff and overseeing probationary periods.
Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
Any other duties related to this role.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc).
Ability to work autonomously, decision-making aptitude, effectively managing own workload without continual guidance.
Aptitude for personal development and ability and willingness to research and continuously learn new aspects of the job.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of people.
Ability to diffuse grievance.
Strong ethics and reliability.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills and effective time management.
Experience of standard Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive.
High level of English and Arabic language both spoken and written.
Good communication skills with a wide range of people.
Have high levels of professionalism, initiative, and energy.
Passionate about tackling social and human rights issues .
Good attention to details and able to consistently meet deadlines and schedules.
A creative and progressive mindset.
Ability to offer and receive constructive and critical feedback.
