 Gross Salary: 560 USD
 Works in collaboration with: Finance department, Logistic department, Field ADM-FIN Supervisors, Field Coordinators, Deputy Field Coordinators, (Deputy Base Manager)

 Duties and responsibilities:

Under direct supervision of Finance Coordinator, and the Deputy Finance Coordinator, the Admin Finance officer duties include aspects of Finance and administration management of TGH mission.

Accounting & Finance Management

 

Accountancy and management of Cashbox:

 

  • Daily management of cash box;
  • Ensure follow-up of cash advances on a weekly basis in collaboration with all departments;
  • Daily update the accountancy excel file strictly in link with TGH financial procedure; 
  • Daily update of the accountancy make sure the precise usage of contract code, and budget line;
  • Prepare all documents (including bank reconciliation & cashbox inventories) to close the accountancy on weekly and monthly basis according to TGH procedures;
  • Send the accountancy to the Finance Coordinator on weekly & monthly basis.
  • Ensure accurate book keeping in the appropriate computer file(s);
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices according to TGH financial policies:
  • Ensure all purchase file in accountancy are complete and compliant with TGH procedures
  • Prepare bank documents needed for transfers in coordination with finance Coordinator;
  • Manage all bank transfers (salaries, suppliers, tax etc.) under the supervision of the Deputy finance coordinator ;
  • Manage and translate issues related to the bank;
  • Prepare and classify invoices and purchase files for donorís financial audit;
  • Manage the payment of social insurance, TA, income tax at Khartoum level;
  • Prepare the vouchers for accountancy on Monthly basis.
  • Facilitate awareness campaigns on PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) to affected populations and local communities, the standards of conduct expected of TGH staff and partners, and the various mechanisms for reporting abuse or concerns related to PSEA, including contact information.
  • Ensures that TGH staff and partners respect and implement the Child Safeguarding Policy
  • Any other tasks as instructed by the line managers. 

 

Archiving System& Vouchers

  • Responsible of Finance Khartoum filing / Archiving system;
  • Responsible for electronic and hardcopies archiving.
  • Responsible of voucherization of the mission.
  • Support any donorís audit from a Finance point of view;
  • Maintain good relationship with all stakeholders;

 

Relation with the Field

  • Make sure all accountancyare brought back from the field by the end of each month.
  • Revise accountancy, and make sure complete files in accordance with procedures and requirements.

 

 

Capacity building

  • Participate actively in the training courses recommended by TGH, and share new skills and knowledge with his/ her team or colleagues;
  • Inform her/his supervisor about identified training needs and training opportunities on her/his job related issue;
  • Co-operate in the supervision of partner organizations according to partnership agreements;

 

Other duties

  • Perform other related duties as instructed by the Head of HR & Finance  and Country Director;
  • Regularly visit the bases for support, briefings and replacing staff if needed;
  • Any other task/duty that is necessary for TGH activities;

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • BSc. Degree in relevant Field.
  • 1-2year ofrelevant experience in Finance.
  • Fresh graduates with revenant 1 year internship in Finance department are encourage to apply.
  • Spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to convey difficult and challenging information to managers.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work. 
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Respectful, against any kind of discrimination
  • Pro activity, sense of initiative
  • Great reactivity and availability to any requests
  • Personal features: Diplomat, moderate, honest, motivated, enthusiastic.
